It's worked, and now, we're kicking on.Today, we're a market leader in construction, engineering, and fabrication services, specializing in heavy industrial structural, mechanical, and piping (SMP) projects across Australia.We're growing all the time, but we never forget what matters most: our people.This is your opportunity to get stuck into good, honest work with a successful, forward-thinking business that takes care of its own.Join us as a Mechanical Fitter and help shape a business that has its eyes on the future, with a team that has your back.Your opportunityMECHANICAL FITTERAnticipated Gross Annual Earnings – $214,668.00*As our valued Mechanical Fitters, you will be vital to the success of our major mining construction projects at either the Tanami Mine in the Northern Territory or the Carrapateena Mine in South Australia.Working a 2:1 FIFO roster with flights from most major cities, you'll enjoy a better work-life balance.
You'll also be surrounded by a down-to-earth team of reliable, friendly, hard-working people - it's not all hugs and roses, but we take your physical and mental health seriously.You'll make an impact by:Using your sound planning and organizational skills to get the job doneUsing your experience and knowledge to do the best work you can doTaking pride in the work you do and being an important member of a hard-working team.What you'll bringExperience in the installation of drives, conveyor roller frames, head drums, and pulley drumsThe ability to maintain equipment and machinery: you should be able to develop a maintenance routine and procedure for every machine you assembleThe capability to put together machines and equipment including running tests, to ensure it functions as expectedIdeally, you will also have:Australian recognized Trade CertificateA valid C Class Drivers' Licence as a minimum.Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform ticketsConstruction CardA strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and part of a teamWillingness to obtain a National Police Check and undergo a pre-employment medicalSo, what can you expect from a career with us?Work.
