About the role
As Procurement Lead at Sovereign Cloud Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic procurement initiatives.
This full-time position is based in Brisbane, QLD 4000, and will see you overseeing all aspects of the procurement process to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the business.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing robust procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives Negotiating and managing supplier contracts to secure the best possible terms and conditions Analysing market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Collaborating cross-functionally to understand the procurement needs of various business units Streamlining procurement workflows and implementing effective control measures to enhance efficiency Identifying and onboarding new suppliers to diversify the company's vendor base Monitoring and reporting on key procurement metrics to support informed decision-making Ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures What we're looking for
Significant experience (8+ years) in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within the accounting or financial services industry Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure favourable terms and conditions Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organisation Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field What we offer
