The nature of their business is fast-moving, dynamic and supportive.They are a close-knit and results-driven team, so someone who likes to work hard to get the best out of themselves but have fun at the same time will fit right inThe RoleThey are currently seeking a motivated Intermediate Hydraulic & Fire Protection Engineer looking for exciting and challenging projects and a drive to progress their career further.A great role if you have a positive outlook, are a team player and want to be challenged by working on a diverse range of projects in the building services industry.Ideally, you'll be degree qualified, with 4+ years of experience in hydraulic and Fire design, exhibiting excellent communication skills with an eye for detail and understanding of the commercial outcomes.In a diverse role, you will be balancing a mix of responsibilities, combining your strong people skills with your passion for the technical aspects of the role.You will optimise productivity and manage your own performance targets. If you are assertive, see solutions quickly and can think laterally to find innovative design solutions, then apply now.You will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering advice on a wide variety of projects. This includes due diligence, concept design, detailed design, construction stage administrative duties, and also offers project-leading opportunities.The ResponsibilitiesHydraulic and Fire Protection design for building services across multiple industry sectorsAbility to write reports, tenders, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Conduct site audits and develop quotations and engineering submissionsProviding technical leadership and mentoring within the teamGrowing the business and developing strong, long-lasting client relationshipsThe RequirementsHydraulic/Fire Protection engineer with 4+ years of experience and relevant accreditation with Engineer AustraliaExperience in consulting within the building services industryNER registration and CPEng candidates are preferred or working towards these accreditationsYou will have a working knowledge of Australian Standards & best engineering practicesYou will have experience liaising with clients and practising exceptional customer serviceYou'll be a natural people-person with an approachable and professional communication styleYou will have excellent written language and verbal communication skillsYou will have the ability to work to deadlines and use your initiative dailyTerrific team player who's able to develop and foster positive and productive relationships but can also work aloneAbility to remain calm and effective in an often fast-paced environment
