Guidance Counsellor - Mt Maria College, PETRIEAs a Guidance Counsellor with BCE: Mt Maria College, Petrie is seeking a Guidance Counsellor with recent school-based experience supporting secondary aged students.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience or possess a strong capacity to work as an active contributor to the College's Student-Wellbeing team; maintain our focus on prevention and early intervention; and positively contribute to the development of a comprehensive student support and wellbeing program that is responsive to the needs of our complex community.
Knowledge and experience of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) philosophy and structures would also be an advantage.
You will form part of the guidance and counselling team supporting the students and school community of Mt Maria College (Sec), PETRIE in this full time, fixed term position.
You will work collaboratively with the school community to foster the learning and wellbeing of all students through the provision of a proactive, quality guidance and counselling service.
Supported by School Services and the Student Wellbeing team you will be responsive to a vibrant and complex community of teachers and learners.
