From humble beginnings, NPS has grown to a national organisation with circa 200 staff.
At NPS, we provide high-quality services for industry, government, and water authorities with significant growth in emerging areas of digital metering and IoT device management.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a suitably experienced Plumber to service a range of contracts in Melbourne's South East, who can come on board and hit the ground running with a number of projects that are underway.
We pride ourselves on providing a professional trade team; our goal is to exceed customer expectations consistently.
This is why we are looking for a Plumber who has great attention to detail and takes pride in the work they perform and the role they play within our business.
NPS has established regular and satisfied customers, and we are looking for team players who possess well-developed people skills, with the ability to deal with all customers in a professional manner and deliver high-quality work on time.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Service and maintenance plumbing.Inspect sites while discovering and locating problems and replacing/repairing components as necessary.Perform incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the whole task.Inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards.Rostered after-hours servicing.ABOUT YOU With several projects underway, we need reliable and committed Plumbers to join us.
Do you possess:
2+ years in commercial maintenance plumbing.Experience in government and educational institute contract works highly regarded.Quoting experience highly regarded.Sewer jets and camera work experience.Hold a current driver's licence.Plumbing registration or licence.Construction Induction (white/red) card.Police check and working with children's check would be advantageous and you must be able to obtain one if you don't already have one.A great attitude with a willingness to learn.An aptitude for problem solving.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to perform work under supervision either individually or in a team environment.Pride in your work.WHAT'S ON OFFER Competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience.Company vehicle and phone allowance.The opportunity to join a great team of like-minded people.The ability to manage your own workload.Great team culture and office support.Opportunity to make a difference.New Plumbing Solutions are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity.
