This Queensland owned and operated company has a great reputation to successfully provide quality workstations, seating and furniture for 40 plus years.
We operate nine retail stores across Queensland and Sydney.
This opportunity is permanent full time , working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday , based in our Mackay branch.
The Role: We are looking for a physically fit and energetic worker that can build, deliver and install office furniture and workstations to a wide range of business, government and domestic customers.
You will be responsible for checking that all goods that are labelled/collected/delivered match the product details on invoices and delivery dockets.
The applicant will assist with unloading stock weekly from our distribution warehouse and work with the despatch team to maintain a well-organised and clean workspace under the guidance of the despatch supervisor.
Interact and communicate with our staff, customers and suppliers in a safe and professional manner that lives up to our reputation of a customer first approach.
Experience and Skills: Ability to drive a light automatic truck (Standard Car License required) Ability to assemble furniture in our warehouse and on site Physically fit, able to lift and move furniture items in accordance with work health and safety practices Demonstrated professional customer service as you are the face of our business when interacting with customers Tap into your experience to support and assist other team members grow and learn Competent at using power tools OH&S knowledge in an environment where there are a lot of moving parts Trade, Handyman or labour work background is a bonus
