About the Role and Team We have multiple Staff Engineer opportunities available in the Wholesale Technology Group across the Finance and Risk and Trade Lifecycle Management teams.
1 x permanent role1 x 12-month fixed term roleAs a Staff Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and work closely with your team of developers and solution architects to form and define solutions.
You will be responsible for the application architecture, analysis, design, coding, testing and supporting of software solutions while contributing to continuous integration and deployment activities.
What you'll be doing Design, develop, and test software components across various domains and technologiesTranslate product owner requirements into functional customer solutionsImplement and maintain production support capabilities like logging and monitoringDesign and develop components to support architectural integration patterns using best practice and design principlesDevelop high-quality automated unit tests, integration tests and UI/APIMentor junior developers and champion process improvementOur Technology Stack Azure API Management as our gatewayAzure DevOps (VSTS) for CI/CD orchestrationAzure cloud native developmentBackend: C#, ASP .Net, MVC, Web API, SQL Server and XUnitFrontend: Angular for SPA, with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and TypescriptTerraform for infrastructure provisioningAbout You Technical expertise in C#, .Net, Complex SQL queries & Stored Procedures and relevant experience with any cloud technology stackExtensive industry experience and demonstrated experience as a Technical Lead/Staff EngineerExperience mentoring and guiding junior developersStrong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical aspectsExperience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologiesInclusion at AGL At AGL, we value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disabilities, culturally diverse individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
