This includes a focus on optimising and growing the asset base, energy efficiency initiatives, in addition to providing support and integration advice to capital projects.
What you'll do:Optimising the operation of existing plant and infrastructure, and developing and designing future asset operation to deliver the best return on investment for customers.Inspection of assets and attending on site for the purpose of coordinating or supporting operational activities.Coordinate energy efficiency initiatives and implementation of plant load shifting throughout the water and wastewater asset base.Business relationship interface for retail electricity, metering providers and networks.Support and advise capital upgrade projects on renewable generation options and design process.This is not an exhaustive list of duties; employees are expected to undertake other tasks from time to time as required.

What you'll need to be successful:Qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications and/or relevant experience.Class C Drivers licence.Demonstrated high level oral and written communication with the ability to involve others in identifying issues and solutions.Demonstrated computer application skills.Excellence organisational and time management skills demonstrated through the ability to manage conflicting priorities.Ability to use relevant information technology including computerised control and monitoring systems (i.e.
SCADA), GIS, ERP systems and engineering plans/drawings.Experience and understanding of electrotechnology, automation systems, process control.Experience working within an asset management framework.Experience and/or understanding of water & wastewater treatment processes.Application Steps:To be considered for this position applicants must submit a cover letter addressing the Selection Criteria above and provide a current resume.
