Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

This excellent opportunity is part-time working 4 days per week and located in Glebe, NSW, therefore the successful candidate will be regionally based.
Flexibility - A hybrid position where you can work from both home and office.
What You'll Be Doing:
Create and lead engagement strategies that speak directly to our people's needs and strengths.
Run awareness and promotion activities that make the GHS program accessible and known in every corner of our community.
Build and nurture strong relationships with Elders, community leaders, and organisations.
Develop communication tools that connect with our culture and our way of life.
Work with our team to ensure we're ready to meet the needs of our community.

We're after:
Experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community engagement, with a focus on health.
A genuine passion for improving health outcomes for our communities.
Happy to travel - you must have your own vehicle and driving license (you will be reimbursed).
An understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
