Road Worker

The Chandler Macleod Group is looking for Road Maintenance Workers for our client in Dandenong.
In this role, you will undertake a variety of road maintenance and civil construction activities including but not limited to:
Network inspections and hazard and defect rectification.
Perform manual labour-intensive tasks in accordance with established safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
After hours emergency response capabilities and overtime are requirements of this role, and opportunities may be available to travel within the state to assist with broader emergency responses.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current Medium Rigid truck licence.
Preferably have current licences and tickets in plant operation; traffic management, chainsaw, and first aid.
Construction Induction White Card.
You will also be required to use tablets/mobile devices in this role for reporting purposes, so a baseline understanding of technology is necessary.
Whilst this role is primarily based in Dandenong, you may be occasionally required to work from other locations across the state of Victoria based on the operational needs of the broader business, where you would receive a living away from home allowance.
The standard hours for this position are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
There may occasionally be a requirement to work overtime outside these hours, work away from home for periods of time, and attend after hours call outs as required.
