Store Person and Dental Handpiece Repair OfficerAn exciting opportunity has opened for a Store Person and Handpiece Repairer to join our Queensland team based at our Morningside facility. The role will include:Managing goods receipts and despatchInventory managementSupporting our field-based technicians with provision of parts and equipment ordersPerforming workshop repairs to dental equipment including handpieces and small portable dental equipmentSupporting our field-based team with dental surgery installations.You will be joining an experienced team of technicians with a broad range of expertise and qualifications. QDS provides a supportive and collaborative environment with a focus on continuous improvement as part of our quality accredited systems.The ideal candidate will have experience as a store person and a mechanical/technical aptitude. Manufacturer and on-the-job training will be provided where applicable.CompanyQDS is a leading provider of dental equipment installation, maintenance, and repair services across southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales, with a strong commitment to providing the highest quality service to our private and government clients.QDS is a rapidly growing company and holds dealerships/technical partnerships with major dental equipment suppliers. Manufacturer, industry body, and on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of the admin team to ensure that all parts and equipment are correctly receipted in the works management system.Managing Goods Inwards and DespatchLiaising with the field technicians on when parts and equipment are deliveredKeeping the workshop/warehouse tidy and in orderHandpiece and small equipment repairs under the direction of experienced technicians.Assisting with Dental Surgery installations supporting the field-based techniciansWorking as a member of the team to provide efficient and cost-effective service deliveryProviding friendly advice and assistance to our customers as part of QDS's customer approach.Skills and ExperienceA minimum of 3 years work experience in a workshop or warehouse environment.Experience using a forklift would be desirableUnderstanding of WH&S procedures and/or other applicable regulatory requirementsExperience in use of work management systems and Microsoft Office toolsQualities and AttributesArticulateProfessionalAbility to work in a team environment and without direct supervisionStrong problem-solving and fault-finding skillsSelf-motivatedRemunerationThe successful candidate will be rewarded with:Training and developmentPositive and supportive atmosphereChallenging and exciting careerTo apply please send your CV with covering letter addressing how you meet the above requirements by clicking the 'Apply for this Job' button.
