The Role Join as a member of a high performing sales and coverage team providing transaction banking solutions to the bank's Global Financial Institutions Group (FIG). This specialized client group will require a high level of management and expertise to ensure responsible growth across the portfolio.
The role as a Vice President (VP) / Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) based in Sydney, will require you to maintain a strong client focus and the ability to build a strong internal network across the regional and global bank network. The role will also require building a working partnership with one or more Treasury Sales Officers in Australia to support the growth of the assigned portfolio, as well as the growth of the broader team portfolio.
As the successful TSO you will be required to manage multiple competing priorities with an understanding of the bank, the operational aspects of the products and services, and the key risks to the institution.
The VP / TSO will:
Build out the identified client portfolio in line with the bank's strategy.Manage and grow revenues from existing clients.Partner closely with Corporate Bankers, Regional and Global GPS Colleagues and other business partners (as appropriate) to consult on sales opportunities and provide the product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver the best possible Treasury and Trade solutions to the client in-country or regionally.Pitch alongside with Corporate Bankers as a specialist on treasury, trade and liquidity products.Identify client's needs and work closely with internal partners (Product Management, Client Delivery, Services and Operations) to structure adequate solutions.Manage and support RFP processes as relates to specialist products (Deal Review, Pricing, RFP response coordination).Ensure timely resolution of GPS relationship sensitive client servicing issues within the organization.Behavioral Qualifications Inclusive and Inspiring: Seeking motivating team players who value collaboration, celebrating shared success and who actively seek and appreciate diverse thoughts and backgrounds.Authentic and Passionate: Seeking highly engaged teammates whose intensity and intentions align and are enthusiastic about the work we are doing for our clients and in our communities.Innovative and Curious: Seeking teammates with out-of-the box ideas and solutions, who embrace change with a future-forward mindset, and are looking to challenge the status quo.Confident and Agile: Seeking strong communicators who value giving and receiving feedback, easily build relationships, and who are quick thinking, flexible, and always learning and sharing knowledge.Required Skills At least 3+ years of relevant banking experience.Good working knowledge of and exposure to the Financial Institutions Group including banks, non-banks and government segments, in an analytical or sales related role.Knowledge and/or exposure to Cash Management products and services with familiarity towards credit, trade and foreign exchange.Demonstrated track record in developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships.Excellent organization skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.Strong financial and analytical skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong presentation skills.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Desired Skills / Personal Attributes Exhibits strong drive for results and success: conveys a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations; persists despite obstacles, setbacks and competing influences.Maintains unwavering focus on delighting the client: demonstrates a sense of urgency, dedication and passion for exceeding the expectations of internal/external customers/clients; earns customer/client loyalty through accuracy, efficiency, courtesy and presence.Fosters collaboration among team members and business partners: shows skill and ease at working in groups; contributes ideas, opinions and skills toward the achievement of a common goal; views each success as a win for the organization.Develops strong interpersonal alliances at appropriate levels, both within and outside the organization; builds solid relationships characterized by mutual respect, understanding and trust.Possesses the specialized knowledge and skills essential to addressing key job challenges, solving major job-relevant problems and otherwise performing the technical responsibilities of the job with a high level of competence.Knowledge of Sales Process Management – Sales to Implementation Handover process, Client Services and Implementation Systems.
