Our wide array of high-quality, DIY-friendly products are available at Australia's largest and most trusted hardware retailer, serving customers across both Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role We are thrilled to offer an exciting full-time position for an experienced and driven Site Operations Manager, reporting directly to the Group General Manager.

In this role, the Site Operations Manager will be accountable for developing, directing, and managing the site's production and warehousing activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include: Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the production and warehouse/logistics teams to achieve operational excellence.Develop and implement strategies to optimise production processes and warehouse operations.Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership and team development.Operational Efficiency: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Coordinate and oversee daily operations to ensure timely and efficient production and distribution.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Resource Management: Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to meet production and logistics targets.Optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure operational readiness.Collaboration and Communication: Lead a culture that engages employees through communication, recognition and collaboration.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met.Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.Work with the quality assurance team to develop and improve quality standards.Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing and/or logistics environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Solutions focused - proven ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs or priorities.Effective communication and consultation skills with a broad range of internal stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
