What will this role achieve? The Global Godiva Finance Reporting Lead is responsible for overseeing a company's financial operations and to help ensure we make effective decisions.
The areas we cover include: understanding and reporting on performance to drive improvements and standardization, evaluating project business cases, and coordinating planning and forecasting processes.
This position reports to the VP Finance Godiva and the role holder will have responsibility for delivering key forecasting and reporting activities.
Our remit covers all Godiva regions and we deal with many senior stakeholders.
This role is aimed at developing, coordinating, and ensuring quality reporting and insightful analysis across the business in order to give us a deep understanding of performance and be able to give insight to help drive the business forward.
What will be your key deliverables? Manage relationships with Godiva regions and support the regional finance teams on key global activitiesPreparation and analysis of business results and communication to the VP Finance and President of GodivaChallenging Godiva regions/operations to drive resultsAdhoc analytics for leadership team and preparation of some reportsExternal insight analysis including competitor analysisEmbed new consolidation system and development of reportsDevelopment of analytical tools, trend analysisAnnual target setting modelling involving internal & external insightsDevelop process for key planning cycles eg Budget.Financial modelling, evaluation & decision support of global activitiesStrategic Projects and lead for financial and business evaluationsWhat do you need for this role? Essential FP&A Finance experienceQualified Accountant with 8+ years PQ experienceFinancial Accounting background with strong understanding & proven experience of working capital and cash flow analysisHigh end analytical & interrogation skillsProven leadership skills, with the gravitas to build solid, successful working relationships cross functionallyTrack record of providing robust and informative financial analysis, including planning and forecastingExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to make financial analysis easily understoodHighly conscientious with good attention to detail, coupled with a broad perspectiveAbility to plan optimally and work under own initiativeGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointFinancial modelling, scenario evaluation and report developmentDesirable Strong technical accounting skills (CA background)FMCG experienceWorking across global organisations and working with different cultures / languages.Experience of business change projectspladis is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to hiring a diverse workforce.
