As well as providing products and services to our member, we play a broader community role by advocating for improvements in the healthcare system and in quality, safety and professionalism in medicine, through delivering education and research activities.About the role :This 12 month fixed term contract role is key in supporting the Information Security Lead in delivering the Information Security Strategy and monitoring Avant systems and technology services.This is a varied role with three main priorities :Responsibility for assisting with the delivery of key information security projectsMonitoring and responding to information security alertsSupporting business lines with BAU information security requests.To be successful in this role you will have :Tertiary qualifications in IT, Security, Engineering or a related business disciplineDemonstrated work experience in an Information Security related role, ideally in the financial services industryIT Security certifications and further studies such as CISSP, CoBIT, ISO27K, CISM, CRISC would be beneficialStrong evidence of professional commitment to maintain currency of Information Security knowledge and skillsExperience in information security governance and risk managementExperience responding to information security eventsExperience in project delivery, ideally in Information Security or IT related projectsPrevious experience with managing stakeholders and vendorsExperience in cloud security, ideally using the Azure platformA working knowledge and understanding of the technology and systems environment of information security service providers, vendors and third-partyAt Avant, our people are the centre of everything we do for our members.
