ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE? An exciting opportunity for some Casual Distribution Centre operators (Warehouse Team Members) is now available in our new Fairfield NSW facility
Our Distribution Centres are the hub of activity and paramount to ensuring our customers receive the right stock, on time, every time - this is a crucial part of ensuring that our customer experience is a positive one from start to finish
You will have very good attention to detail, great communication skills and a can-do attitude that is open to learning new processes and working with the team to keep our DC running at its absolute best with a continuous focus on safety
You will also be able to:
Work in all departments within Distribution Centre (inbound, outbound, HD) as requiredPick pack customer orders for dispatch with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy (nobody wants a blue sofa when they ordered a red one
)Unload and load of containers and truck both manually and with MHEPeriodic stock checksPre-start MHE checklists conductedHousekeeping and cleaning dutiesUse of other electronic equipment – i.e., RF scannersWork within a team environmentTake direction from Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC management teamABOUT YOU We are looking for team members who are passionate about delighting customers, want to grow their career, and can be relied on to support our teams – sometimes at short notice.
You may bring with you some experience from a warehouse or labour related role, but we are also interested in speaking to people who are looking to start their career and learn some new skills
