About your new roleIn your role as Residential Life Supervisor (RLS) you will be responsible for facilitating the coordination of the residence as a community under the direction and management of the Residential Life Manager (RLM).
You will play a key role in overseeing resident wellbeing and delivery of the Residential Life and Wellbeing Program.
Some of your primary responsibilities include:
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Residential Life Program, including, but not limited to, incident and welfare management, purchasing and administration.Assist the RLM in the development, implementation, and management of strategic Residential Life Projects and Events.Participate in an on-call after-hours rotation as the primary contact for residents in relation to all situations that may arise.Provide exceptional service to all residents, staff, investors, visitors, suppliers, contractors, and associated organisations.Establish and maintain a constructive and productive working relationship with all key stakeholders.This is a permanent full-time position working a 38 hour work week, Monday to Friday.
Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to work outside of these hours to assist with events from time to time.
About You:We are looking for someone with a 'hands-on approach'.
You will be energetic, creative, self-motivated, and focused on delivering a memorable student resident experience.
In addition to this, you will have:
Previous experience in a similar capacity, including wellbeing and mental health literacyDemonstrated ability to develop new ideas and engaging events, then formulate plans to deliver themExperience managing events in line with event budgetsStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to people from diverse backgroundsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a range of stakeholdersPossess a current First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)The successful candidate must be willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working With Children CheckWhy UniLodgeAcross our workforce we have built an enviable culture of trust, engagement, collaboration, and fun.
