Clinical Nurse Consultant Subject Matter Expert (SME) Cardiovascular System CVIS Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health.
This strategy aims to create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North.
Significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years, including hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North.
Delivering this will require a dedicated team with the knowledge, skills, and experience to succeed.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Stream Lead, CVIS, DHBS, this role has a professional reporting line to the Director of Nursing, CNMIO, and will work directly with staff across the state to implement the CVIS.
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse.
Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of employment.
The incumbent is required to operate a motor vehicle; a current 'C' class licence must be provided.
The incumbent may be required to participate in the 24/7 pro-rata On-Call Roster for Digital Metro North.
This role has no financial and human resource delegations and is a fixed-term, temporary part-time role (48 hours per fortnight).
Based in Fortitude Valley, there may be a requirement to work at other facilities across Metro North Health.
Key Knowledge and Experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
In consultation with the Senior Director, DHBS, eHealth Queensland, undertake project management activities by developing a project plan to progress and manage deliverables according to the project lifecycle.
Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet expectations of the CVIS project.
Work collaboratively with the project team to provide policy and strategic advice to the project sponsor and other stakeholders as required to inform decision-making and governance direction to achieve project deliverables with minimal slippage.
Apply sound knowledge and skills in leadership, communication, change, and project management.
Use ethical decision-making and Queensland Health change management principles to achieve project goals.
Apply safety and quality risk management frameworks to inform and contribute to the strategic and professional direction of the CVIS project.
