Our expanding portfolio, development projects, and exploration prospects make Aeris an exciting, growing company.Job OpportunityWe have an opportunity for a 12-month maternity leave cover (starting in Feb 2025) for an experienced Senior Mining Engineer focused on Long Term Planning. Reporting to the General Manager Technical and Studies, this role is a key member of our Technical Services and Studies team, a shared service to Aeris operations and Aeris projects.Key ResponsibilitiesThe team provides technical support, develops long-term plans, governs technical standards, supports operational excellence, and manages studies. The team offers a broad range of solutions including:Mine engineeringMetallurgyEnvironmental sciencePermittingMine closure planningCommunity engagementStudies controlCost estimationBusiness improvement and innovationThis role will suit an experienced mine planning professional familiar with UG hard rock mine planning, specifically long term and LOM.Our People RockThe true value in Aeris comes from two things: people and rocks.
