Our client is a leading Australian organization and is seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner to join their groundbreaking, growing business.
As an e-Commerce, direct to consumer business, this is a new business that has enormous scope for growth.
As the Finance Business Partner, you'll be a trusted adviser, providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance that challenge conventional thinking, drives informed decision-making, and shapes the business strategy.

Your Responsibilities:
Performance Mastery: Take ownership of the monthly actuals review and forecast for revenue, gross profit, CODB, working capital, and capex.
Uncover the drivers behind our performance and improve forecasting accuracy.
Strategic Insights: Provide financial analysis and insight into profitability, market trends, and business case developments.
Your recommendations will drive growth and profitability.
Collaborative Partnership: Support joint business plans, marketing initiatives, and product development investments, ensuring commercial viability and maximizing success.
Process Excellence: Establish robust finance operation processes, governance, and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, strengthening our financial foundation.
Alignment and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the company's Financial Control team to ensure consistency and alignment in Financial Accounting structure and processes.
Mentorship: Share your expertise and mentor other finance team members, fostering their growth and development.
Your Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Additional certifications (CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or Financial Analyst, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
Strong analytical skills, uncovering insights from complex financial data to guide strategic decision-making.
Business acumen, understanding profitability drivers and market dynamics.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Excellent communication skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Process-oriented mindset, establishing and improving financial operations.
Collaborative nature, ensuring alignment and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Mentoring capabilities, supporting the growth of your finance colleagues.
