Architects (Information & Communication Technology) Full time The Solutions Architect provides presales support and consulting services for the specification and design of tailored solutions for New Era's potential and existing clients.
This role works closely with the sales, technical, and project management teams to provide clear communication on client requirements and the timely delivery of client solutions.
Key responsibilities: Performing detailed requirements capture and analysis activityDesigning solutions that can be implemented, managed, and maintained by New Era's technical teamProducing architectural designs for solutionsDocumenting client business requirements and produce proposals and/or tender responses in conjunction with the sales teamProviding technical content for quotes, proposals, and tender responsesCompleting various levels of documentation including scope of work, design, and quoting documentationProducing statements of work for external and internal projectsAssisting the sales team in winning more business through actively participating in new and existing client engagement including attending client meetings and presenting capabilities of New Era's technical teamDemonstrating, presenting, and effectively articulating solutions to clientsProviding a high level of technical analysis and adviceWorking closely with the sales team to ensure clients receive consistent communication and their requirements are metMaintaining a strong working relationship with the sales, technical, and project teamsAssisting with discovery of any future work requirements/projectsContinuously improving technical capability through accreditation, certification, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of trends in software/hardware design, infrastructure, and architectureOther related duties as requiredWho we are looking for: Minimum 5 years experience as a Pre Sales Engineer/Solutions ArchitectBroad knowledge across a large spread of the IT infrastructure sectorPrior experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting leading-edge technology solutionsStrong skills in requirements analysisExceptional technical documentation skillsPrevious experience in a consultative/client-focused roleWhat we offer: A friendly team environment with a strong technical support networkBroad range of options for training and developing your IT skillsOpportunity to work with the IT industry's latest technologiesInternal career growth for high performers and IT superstarsCost price on products from our suppliersBonuses and incentives for upskillingComprehensive Employee Assistance ProgramWhat we do: New Era Technology is a global technology solutions provider with 4,500+ employees and offices around the world.
