LET'S EXPLORE THE ROLE
Prepare and write business processes, instructional manuals, operations procedures, online help and any relevant technical reports.
Organise content into a document that communicates complex, technical information more easily for nonexperts.
Conduct research, create, and deliver technical information through a variety of media to customers, designers, and implementors.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply technical aptitude to complex processes or systems and defined documentation and translate processes into a clear and useable state that is suitable for end users and intended audience.
Identify improvements to process flows and work with developers and testers to confirm the functionality in the system.
This contributes to correcting or improving the process flow mapping process documents and work instructions.
Conduct comprehensive gap analysis and testing of preproduction systems such as ServiceNow, Appian and Field Mobile Apps to write documentation and to identify previous content inconsistencies or system defects.
Raise issues such as defects or seek further clarification from the system configuration through consultation with architects and system leads.
Conduct comprehensive process and business analysis and engage with stakeholders such as Work Stream Leads via stakeholder meetings to confirm, improve or correct process steps and flow (applies to both work instructions and process documents) and relating reference documents.
Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders (including SMEs, Solution Architects, Business Analysts) to undertake process analysis.
Validate process steps and complete process mapping to update, improve or correct Visio flows and process documents to better align to the current process state, or future state.
Conduct edits of project documentation submissions and bring alignment to format and language requirements of the internal style guide and NSW Government Telco Authority styles and requirements.
Write various documents (often from first draft through to final version) including work instructions, training material, system user guides, QRGs, process documents, and edits / updates of detailed design documents.
Actively work on content and process flow improvement to increase the accuracy of the instructions and the overall look and feel of the documents.
Publish and maintain the documents in the Document Management Library.
Ensure compliance with all defined KPI's, SLA's, guidance's, and review processes.
Apply continuous improvement methods with respect to developing document content and processes.
Work across multiple deliverable documents and competing deadlines simultaneously.

Qualification/education in communications and professional writing is required.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar role is essential.
Expertise in research and gathering information
Strong Interpersonal and Professional Communication Skills
Ability to collaborate and engage stakeholders
Working knowledge of business analysis and instructional design
Australian Citizenship essential to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance as a condition of employment
