The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for financial & management reporting, processes and procedures and business partnering with the management and operational teams. This role will support QLD / NT / SA / WA.Here's a snapshot of your dayMonth-end close; Update Project cost to complete reviews, margin adjustments, variations and profit take-up in 'Work Order Management systems', GL Account reconciliationsMonthly management reporting including the preparation of board packs and associated commentary to assist in decision makingForecasting; Deliver accurate P&L forecasting through partnering with the operations teamAssist project managers in the preparation of accurate cost to complete forecastingForecast tracking during the month, based on project costs to dateDeliver accurate monthly cash flow forecastsBudget – work with management to manage the delivery/reporting and improvement of the annual budget processAuditor engagement – provision of audit support at the half/full-yearReview WIP for risks and work with the administration and operations teams to ensure all invoicing is completed each monthReview debtors and work with the admin and operations teams to ensure timely receipt of cash as well as the elimination of intercompany debtWork across multi-functional teams to improve financial performanceBe part of UAT for the Integration of new systemsUnderstand and implement new policies and proceduresWork closely with integration team to deliver finance activitiesMentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training and performance feedback to provide a high level of productivity and professionalismThe Ideal Candidate:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce or similarAt least 5 years' experience in finance and accountingStrong communicator with a hunger for continuous improvementPronto knowledge is favourable but not essentialPower BI knowledge favourable but not essentialSound knowledge and experience in month end financial closing and management reportingAttention to detail with quick and accurate turnaround of analysesWell-developed business understanding and analytical skillsExcellent time-management and organisational skillsAble to work both autonomously and in a team environmentExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skillsCan we inspire you to join us?People are the foundation upon which our success is built.
