From revolutionising billing to smart electric vehicle charging, our real-time cloud platforms transform supplier operations, reducing cost to serve and boosting engagement.
And most importantly, they enable suppliers' customers to drive decarbonisation with smart, low carbon technologies.
Kaluza is currently in an exciting growth phase, undergoing the next phase of our international expansion in Melbourne to further reinforce our capabilities as a globally distributed energy platform.
We're in the early days of building our team and so in-office presence to us is important - working closely with our clients to forge a strong working relationship.
Our team currently works from our office in Melbourne CBD (Spencer St) 2-3 days per week.
Our goal is to build a self-sufficient and empowered team here on the ground in Australia.
We're well on our way, but until we get there we still have some reliance on our UK team.
Being comfortable working flexibly for a portion of your working week to cover time zones is required.
Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
You'll be joining the Kaluza Product community.
We're a group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems.
What will I be doing?
You'll play a key leadership role understanding, designing, and implementing product features to meet the needs of our clients (and their customers)
with a focus on the ANZ market.
Responsibilities include: Guide, coach and lead a team of Business Analysts in eliciting and documenting client requirements and bringing these together into coherent artifacts that can be disseminated and passed to product teams.
Set the Kaluza product roadmap for the ANZ region by partnering with a world-class team of engineers, commercial/client success managers, designers, and data scientists.
Drive product execution and delivery by maintaining a prioritised product roadmap and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with teams across Kaluza to adapt and expand their features for Kaluza in Australia.
Lead on complex, platform-wide initiatives, working cross-functionally to define and deliver solutions.
Define the right success metrics with an understanding of how this translates into value for the client.
Monitor performance, influencing prioritisation of work to improve when necessary.
Being the authoritative source of information within Kaluza for how the clients' business processes operate.
Supporting a culture of open collaboration across Kaluza, client and third-party colleagues.
Using your influencing skills to bring wider business stakeholders on the journey with you.
Is this the job for me?
Ideally you'll have: A passion for building great products to solve retailer pain points.
An ability to tailor your communication style to the audience and simplify the complex in explanations.
A problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach.
Several years of versatile experience working as a consultant/analyst in the energy industry.
Knowledge of a range of energy industry processes that make up read to cash.
Experience of working with product teams in an agile environment.
Experience of dealing with energy regulation.
Skilled at translating business needs into technical requirements enabling engineering teams to develop solutions iteratively.
Passionate about working with stakeholders across Kaluza and its clients to ensure high levels of engagement and knowledge sharing.
Strong relationship-building skills both with clients and internal teams.
Experience designing complex or enterprise-level software.
Experience or are comfortable working across Australia / UK time zones when needed.
Experience leading, guiding and coaching a small team.
