We want the best of the best to develop the skills driving the top students to achieve their best results.
Tutors will be highly rewarded for their efforts and successes with students.If that excites you and you are interested in helping us build upon the legacy of the Dymocks brand, come aboardABOUT YOUYou might be:Undergraduate or Graduate with a state rank in either HSC English standard, HSC English Advanced, HSC English Extension 1 or HSC English Extension 2.ATAR must be of 90+Knowledge of multiple HSC prescribed texts and willingness to read up to assist students.Prior tutoring experience is desirable, not essential.
Most importantly, you are an English state ranker who is also a clear and enthusiastic communicator with a good grasp of the subject matter.
We will supplement that knowledge with our own teaching materials.When applying, applicants select both locations and grades that they are able to tutor.
In terms of grades, this MUST include:Senior High School (Years 11 and 12)CONDITIONS & REMUNERATIONWe try our best to look after our tutors as well as our students.
That's why we pay above market remuneration ranging from:$100 an hour inclusive of superannuationThere are also no surprises with us.
We do ask that tutors don't work with other tutoring businesses whilst they are with us, but you're free to work wherever you like if you decide to move on to other opportunities.
After all, it shouldn't be like escaping the Matrix.Shifts are available weeknights from 4:30 PM and on weekends 9 AM - 6 PM.The hiring stage will take some time, and please know that you may be put on standby when onboarded, but rest assured you will be able to take classes
We are looking to have you in class from Term 4, 2024.LocationThis position is for tutors to teach at least one of our main hubs - Parramatta, Burwood, Chatswood, Hurstville, or Epping.
Online will be compulsory for all tutors.
