Job Summary:
The Senior Network Software Engineering Specialist (Technical Analyst) role will provide the software designs to support the development of new software capabilities.
The Technical Business Analyst will provide and lead specialist analysis, design, development, and deployment in network-specific technology domains, including developing platform-specific technology roadmaps and making technology investment recommendations to deliver products and infrastructure to defined service level standards.
This role will work with a team of developers, testers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to design and develop new capabilities in a suite of Logical network inventory products for Telstra's Global Networks and Technology group to take to market.
This role is an important contributor in ensuring that the future products and service enhancements/changes are successfully delivered within Telstra's logical inventory applications.

Focus of the Role:
The Technical Business Analyst will work with a team of developers, testers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to design and develop new capabilities in a suite of Logical network inventory products for Telstra's Global Networks and Technology group to take to market.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements related to solutions and enhancements for a logical network inventory solution for a Telecommunication provider.
Business Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Solution Design: Work closely with technology teams and solution designers to guide translating business requirements into technical specifications and system designs.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
Project Management: Assist Product owner and delivery lead in project planning, coordination, and monitoring.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and inventory solutions.
Qualifications:
Essentials:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
Proven experience as a SME on logical inventory solutions for a Telecom provider.
Experience with COTS products for Telecom inventory management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques and process modeling.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and familiarity with programming languages, databases, and web technologies.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable:
Relevant certification demonstrating knowledge of networking technologies.
Experience or knowledge of Angular, Tomcat, Java, RestAPIs, microservices technologies.
