Civil / Electrical (Roads) Project ManagerWe are seeking the services of an experienced Civil or Electrical ITS Traffic Signals Project Manager.
Onelec was established over 15 years ago and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist the Managing Director in managing the operational side of the business.
Onelec is located in the South Eastern Suburbs, with works located throughout Metropolitan Melbourne.
The Job Reporting to and working with the Managing Director, the successful candidate should have experience in a civil or electrical project management role to ensure the successful execution and completion of projects.
The Project Manager will assume responsibility for all day-to-day operations of civil/electrical works including allocation of work, direct control of all projects, supervision of tradespersons, sub-contractors, and trade suppliers, while maintaining an effective working relationship with clients to deliver a high level of customer service and achieve maximum financial returns for the Company.
We are looking for: 3 years of experience in a Civil or Electrical ITS/Traffic Signals Project Manager role or Construction Manager positionExperience with roads infrastructure is desirableAbility to effectively communicate in meetings with consultants, clients, management, and on-site personnelAbility to build relationships and bring a team togetherAbility to resolve challenges on any level, manage projects on time, maintain quality standards, and adhere to budgetProven track record of winning, negotiating, and implementing projectsAbility to deliver quality projects and build strong customer relationshipsAssist with tendering as requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of WH&S requirementsWhat We Offer You: Supportive and inclusive environmentPart of a team where you are valuedEncouragement and assistance to continue to grow, learn, and expand your careerThis is an excellent opportunity to influence the growth of the organization and to input your valued and proven technical skills within a progressive workplace.
