Human Resources are looking for a Senior Consultant to join their team.
As the Senior Consultant in Injury Management at Princess Alexandra Hospital, you will lead a team in managing work-related and non-work-related injuries.
Your responsibilities include developing strategies for safe return-to-work outcomes, reducing injury claims costs, and providing expert advice to staff and management.
You will also monitor trends and engage with external stakeholders to mitigate the impact of injuries and support prompt, sustainable recovery for employees.

About the Role Consult with injured or ill workers, medical and allied health practitioners and other relevant stakeholders to drive early intervention measures in managing complex cases from end to end, monitoring progress and adjusting return to work plans as required to minimise the impact of injury and achieve claim goals.
Undertake case reviews, including reviews of injury management plans in accordance with the Injury Management Model and develop requests for medical reports as required from treating or independent medical and allied health practitioners to deliver improved worker and organisational outcomes.
Analyse divisional injury, WorkCover, human resource and other data to develop risk profiles, inform mitigation strategies and engage and influence stakeholders within allocated division/s to adopt tailored cost-effective mitigation strategies.
Mentor rehabilitation practitioners, providing expertise and guidance to ensure a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
