We are a leader in our sector and our people led, technology enabled environment, celebrates the individual talents, personalities, interests and needs of our people.Winner of the Best Reward & Recognition program 2024 and a finalist for Employer of Choice 2024, it is not only our employees who think our bank is truly one of the best places to work.Job DescriptionThe OpportunityReporting to the Information Security Manager, this position directly supports our purpose and ensures our members can count on us by ensuring the protection of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the bank's information assets.This position is accountable for:Supporting the operation of the ISMS to ensure compliance with regulators and to protect information assets.Deploying security technologies and controls.Managing security changes to operational systems.Reviewing vulnerability assessment data and supporting deployment and remediation activities.Configuration and management of SIEM, collectors and logging.Reviewing and analysing security logs.Conducting security investigations on events, managing and responding to incidents.Maintaining awareness of threats to the bank's assets.Designing, supporting and delivering email phishing campaigns.Enhancing our security awareness program and establishing security baselines for infrastructure.Developing and updating security documentation.Providing support to Information Security Manager and Head of Information Security and Cyber Security Governance Risk and Compliance functions.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouTo be considered for this role, you will have proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or a similar role. You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and at least one of the following certifications:CompTIA Security+GIAC Security EssentialsAdditionally, you have experience working with industry security standards, such as:ISO27001NISTPCI-DSSYou are skilled in using cyber security management tools, including:SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)Web GatewaysData Protection toolsIdentity Protection toolsWe are looking for a naturally curious, collaborative team player who also thrives when working independently.
