Change Management/Transformation Canberra Contract Government Relations 8/1/2025 This position is based in the Strategic Business Branch supporting the organisational change for transformational programs being delivered by the ACT Government.
This role works to the Project or Program lead, the program/project teams and other key stakeholders.
It is a leadership role that is responsible for the management of benefits and as the need arises, external Business Transformation Partner/s.
Necessary experience: Highly developed knowledge and experience in the delivery of digital projects and programs within a government context Certification in Change Management and Project Management Development and manage the benefits realisation for the programs/projects, including the development of the benefits management approach, benefits maps and profiles.
Work with key stakeholders to develop the change management strategy for each of the programs/projects, their associated change/communications plans, and related artefacts.
Implement the change management strategies and the ensure the execution of the individual plans.
Supervise external Business Transformation Partner/s to ensure deliverable are of the required quality and in alignment with the objectives of the programs/projects.
Facilitate workshops and conduct impact assessments with the program/project teams and stakeholders, including the Business Outcome Owner and Senior Responsible Owner of the programs/projects, to inform planning and execution.
Guide and coach program team members and relevant stakeholders to build a change management capability in their respective business areas and help improve the change management maturity of the organisation.
