Your new opportunity
As the Executive Director, you will play a key leadership role in providing advice, analysis, guidance, and advocacy on critical and complex policy, economic, and fiscal issues.
You will manage, develop, and sustain a strong, capable professional team to provide the best policy outcomes for Queensland.
In this role, you will: Recommend evidence-based solutions to key stakeholders, particularly in relation to the performance of government departments and agencies.
Work collaboratively with Queensland Government departments, agencies, industry, and the community to drive continuous improvement programs, innovation, and change.
Ensure the development, implementation, and delivery of economically and fiscally responsible public policy.
Influence policy agendas across Government and drive sector-wide initiatives.
Provide strong leadership and direction to a team of professionals.
Represent Treasury in complex and sensitive negotiations and consultations.
What experience you will bring: A record of achievement in the development and implementation of complex economic and public policy strategy and frameworks.
A record of success as a leader in a large complex organisation.
Strong ability to collaborate and influence.
Significant experience across the public, private and/or not for profit sectors.
Proven track record as an agent of change.
High-level political acumen.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
