Full Time Non Teaching Director / Nominated Supervisor Kelly's Place has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, passionate Director / Nominated Supervisor to lead our team of dedicated educators and continue our community vision.
About us
Kelly's Place is a well established parent run community based non for profit centre within Crows Nest with a strong reputation for creating genuine deep relationships.
We enrol up to 40 children per day aged between 0-5 years.
Our philosophy highlights play based relational pedagogy; positive identities; and continuous collaboration as a community of learners.
The Role
As the Non Teaching Director you will oversee all operations of the centre.
You will be Nominated Supervisor.
You will lead, guide and mentor a dedicated team and together develop an innovative play based curriculum for children aged 0-5 years.
You will work alongside a committed volunteer management committee and be supported by an organised administrator.
Responsibilities
You will oversee the community vision, compliance, financial matters, policy and procedure development, risk assessments, staffing, enrolments, rostering, insurances, curriculum, and excursions.

Passion, drive, community spirit Experience as a director An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree NESA Teacher Accreditation A current NSW Working with Children Check Completed Child Protection Understanding of Child Safe Practices Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates or willingness to obtain Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks version 2 Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and A&R For more information visit our website
