About the Role This is a Permanent Part Time position at 0.05 FTE (7 hours) per fortnight within the RCH Immunisation Service.
You will be responsible for leading assessment and management of possible vaccine allergy cases referred to the RCH Immunisation service.
You will have a fortnightly (Tuesday morning) immunisation clinic.
Classification for this position will range from HM (paediatric consultant Year 1 to 9).
What you'll achieve: Support for further development of allergy inpatient and outpatient immunisation services.Post outpatient clinical discussion meeting (fortnightly).Support for Department of Health, Immunisation Program projects as required.Attend immunisation education at our team meetings (fortnightly).Your skills and experience MBBS (or equivalent).FRACP (or equivalent).Appropriate experience in paediatric allergy.Current registration (APHRA) as a Medical Practitioner in Australia.Track record in Vaccine Allergy (clinical/research).If this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.
About the Department The RCH Immunisation Service provides vaccine advice for the hospital and the general community.
This includes evaluation and management of children who may possibly have had an allergic reaction to a vaccine.
