We understand that Newcastle is a large region therefore we will work with you on locations that suit best We limit the number of consultations per day to ensure you have the time to provide quality foot care, education and assessments to your patients and build long-lasting relationships.
In the role, you will provide high-quality podiatric care to residents across a range of aged care facilities, corporate health hubs and client's homes with regular treatments, building relationships to maximize foot care and overall enhancing their health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities may include: Assessing, diagnosing, treating and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limbDiabetic foot health assessmentsContributing towards the patient's chronic disease management planOffer footwear and foot care advice and education to patients, family members, staff and carersMake referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriateBiomechanical assessmentsMaintain quality documentation and treatment planning proceduresUndertake a range of administrative tasks such as ensuring your stock levels are maintained, and that equipment is kept in good working order, daily reports and handovers to all staff.About You We are looking for clinicians who share our vision to shift the way healthcare is provided in Australia.
As an experienced, or new graduate clinician, you love to make a difference in the lives of Australians by working with them to improve their foot function and mobility.
This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA-registered Podiatrist.
As a mobile Podiatrist you will need to be comfortable traveling to our clients located as mentioned above and as such provide your own vehicle.
