About your team This role reports to the Director, IT Operations within the Business Solutions and Technology (BS&T) business unit.
BS&T are responsible for all software related business analysis, business solutions, software development, telephony, IT services, infrastructure and cyber.
About the role As the IT Operations Project Manager, you will have proven experience in managing several concurrent projects.
Responsibilities include developing project documentation, project status reports, contract management, and managing costs relating to projects.
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have: Knowledge and experience managing complex technical IT and data projects.Proven experience in developing project documentation for infrastructure and software delivery projects including budget estimates and resource management across multiple projects.An understanding of delivering programs within Government, with knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (PGPA) Act.Extensive experience managing change including release and deployment, risk identification and mitigation.Exceptional stakeholder negotiation and management skills, including effective communication to a range of stakeholders and presenting at the executive level.Highly developed written and administrative skills, with the ability to prepare papers, business cases, and briefs with attention to detail.Organisational and analytical skills, including work prioritisation, dealing with competing requirements and maintaining a customer focus.Benefits for working at DHA include: 15.4% superannuation.Generous leave entitlements, including 18 days personal leave and 20 days annual leave per year.Work-life balance and flexible rostering options.A positive workplace culture.Opportunities to broaden your industry knowledge and experience.Career progression and opportunities.ADF partner employment conditions when posting to a new location.How to apply To apply, click the Apply Now button below with your current resume and a 500-word pitch, addressing the requirements of the role.
