Landscape Carpenter

Aaron's Outdoor is a growing, dynamic company that operates AustraliaWide installing Childcare Playscapes specialising in rubber and synthetic turf surfacing, shade sails and carpentry projects.
We are looking for experienced and motivated Landscapers to join our growing teams across Australia.The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a landscaper with childcare experience looked upon favourably.
This role is hands-on and will require you to be motivated with excellent communication skills.
With projects running Australia wide, a willingness to travel is looked upon favourably.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesYour day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:
Working with a team of tradesmen to complete end to end construction of landscape projects, including but not limited to: excavation, surfacing works, carpentry, concreting, turf and rubber, planting, retaining walls, decking, pergolas and irrigation works.Operating plants and machinery in a safe manner ensuring all OHS policies and procedures are adhered to.Assisting trades with completing high-quality installations.Working with the team to deliver projects on time and within the budget.Must be available to travel interstate for projects.The Successful Candidate Will Have: Experience with hardscaping, including paving and stonework.Multi-trade capabilities with or without certificates; experience is prioritized.Ability to read plans, work out levels, supervise and motivate a small team.Ability to read and understand drawings/plans, and build from a picture or design it yourself – we want highly capable people with diverse abilities.Physically fit and capable of working outside; no previous injuries that may affect work capability.Ability to operate a Bobcat, Excavator, Posi Track, Dingo is an advantage.Current Working with Children check and White Card required, or willingness to obtain both.Excellent time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.Soft-fall rubber and artificial turf experience is highly regarded.Qualified Carpenter or currently working toward qualification.About the Role: Working hours are 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime and weekend work available.Please note the ability to travel with our teams is looked upon favourably.This position would suit a creative, solution-focused structural landscaper, who is active and competent across various trades.
