About the role This position is the primary point of contact for design with external design consultants and internal stakeholders on major infrastructure projects.
The Investment Design Coordinator provides technical expertise and support to project teams, is responsible for design reviews during project design development phases, solves in-field design issues during construction, and works to ensure the design achieves key objectives and meets the needs of TAFE NSW and our customers.
About You The successful candidate will have:
Degree Qualification in Architecture or Interior Design or a related field with relevant building design management skills, knowledge and experienceExtensive experience in the Building Design/Construction industry managing the complete project design process for a broad range of small and large scale projectsGood understanding of the National Construction Code and NSW planning legislationMeet the focus capabilities for the role set out in the Role DescriptionA valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Adobe creative suiteData Analysis experienceTo apply for this role, click on 'apply now' and provide: Your current resumeResponse to the two targeted questions when prompted in the application form (max 300 words per question)Targeted Question 1: Explain your current Building Design/Construction project experience, your roles and responsibilities on these projects, and how it is applicable to this position at TAFE NSW.
