What do we do? Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation.
Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources.
Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines.
Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.
What will you do? Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team.
This position is located on-site at our facility in Melbourne, FL with occasional overnight travel to our office in Fairfax, VA and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities.
Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:
The selected candidate will design, develop, modify, integrate, and evaluate software for signals intelligence, radar, and communications systems.
You will be instrumental in the migration and integration of systems requiring obsolescence management.
Duties will include all aspects of software and systems engineering, including requirements analysis and specification, software design, implementation and integration, testing, and installation.
Basic Requirements US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirementAbility to obtain SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance, due to contract requirementBS degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, or equivalentMinimum 5 years' experience in system level testing, network engineering, cybersecurity, or IT efforts.Qualifications TS/SCI Clearance10 or more years' experience in system level testing, network engineering, cybersecurity, or IT efforts.Strong debugging and problem-solving skillsMS degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, or equivalentAbility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with changing requirements.Experience testing user authentication and authorization applications such as Keycloak, LDAP, Active Directory and PKI certificatesExperience migrating legacy software baselines to new infrastructure including OS upgradesExperience with ESXi 6 and 7, VirtualBox, VMware Player, Vagrant, HashiCorp Packer, AnsibleDeveloping and integrating custom Ansible roles and collectionsUnderstanding the workflows and tools available to build custom Vagrant boxesFamiliarity with git, JIRA, bitbucket, confluence, and Jenkins.Podman/docker containers, Kubernetes, etc.Summit Technology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
