About the Opportunity As Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Platform Team, working alongside the broader IT department within the reporting structure of the Chief Operating Officer.
This role will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of LGT Crestone's core banking platform, Avaloq.

Key Responsibilities Designing and building best practice solutions and processes based on complex business requirementsCustomising Avaloq Core Platform functionalitiesShared responsibility for the Avaloq code base (including refining and enforcing concepts)Solution design and review of new featuresDefinition of integration patterns / interfaces to other systems as requiredUnit testing and building test automation capabilities in everything you developSupport for incident management triage, release/change management and implementation processesEscalation point for system monitoring alertsIdentifying risks associated with changes being made to the system, able to articulate to non-technical stakeholders the implications of any requirementsParticipate in agile ceremonies (daily scrum, retrospectives, prioritisation, demos)Play back technical concepts to business stakeholders in a relatable mannerBuild a deep technical knowledge across multiple functional business areasSupport team and lead in strictly enforcing solution design, development, change management, and agile principles for the betterment of the platformBuild relationships with stakeholders across business units and external partnersSupport and enforce technical audits wherever requiredDefinition, implementation and maintenance of automated testing suiteAbout You You will have an Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) accreditation and have proven experience in Avaloq development across multiple domains.
A tertiary degree and financial services industry experience is highly desirable, as well as knowledge of wealth management products and services (e.g.
portfolio management, trading, settlement, payments, reconciliations, corporate actions).
As well as your work experience, you are a self-motivated individual who is highly committed, independent, focused and has strong attention to detail.
You are strong time management skills and are ability to effectively manage regular changing of priorities.
