Educational Leader | 2 days off the floor | Castle HillWhiz Kidz Early Learning Centre & Preschool Castle Hill is looking for an experienced, passionate, and inspirational Educational Leader.The successful candidate will have a strong focus on developing strong relationships with Educators, possess strong leadership skills, and be passionate about creating a creative learning environment for our children.
You will be someone who is willing to participate in, and contribute to the setup of our service, our practices, policies, and be a pivotal and valued member of our team.
This role is crucial to the success of the service, so if you are a passionate Early Childhood advocate, we would love to hear from youAbout UsThe Whiz Kidz group are family-owned and operated childcare centres in NSW and VIC.
Our owners are two sisters, both with young children, who have a passion for quality childcare and early education.
Having sent all their young children to childcare, we understand what it means to send your child to a centre each morning and walk away with the peace of mind that your child is being cared for in a loving and nurturing environment.
This ideal drives Whiz Kidz each and every day.Key responsibilities include:Lead reflective discussions about practice and implementing the learning frameworkMentor other educators by leading quality practiceDiscuss routines and how to make them more effective learning experiencesObserve children and educator interactions, and make suggestions on how to improve interactions and intentional teachingDevelop, plan and implement quality educational programsBe innovative and motivated to lead a centre to become the centre of choice for families within the local communityMonitor and document children's progress & individual children's portfoliosHave a strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide education and care standards of excellenceDevelop open communication channels with staff, children and families of the centreContribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information, & working as a team playerComply with the centre's policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulationsAssist children with their daily routines & support them in their learningCreate a stimulating environment to foster & support children's developmentIt is a full-time permanent position, working 38 hours a week Monday - Friday.
