Offer DescriptionBased in UniSA Justice & Society at the Magill campusPart-time (0.6 FTE), continuing positionStarting salary: $109,074 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)About the Role You will be responsible for the development, teaching, and coordination of Social Work courses within the Academic Unit's undergraduate and postgraduate programs and contributing to the Academic Unit's research agenda.
You will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the Academic Unit's teaching and research outcomes and to carry out activities to maintain and develop your scholarly, research, and/or professional activities with a specific focus on Social Work.
Essential Skills and Experience PhD qualification in an area relevant to social work and professional/industry experience in Social WorkEligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social WorkersDemonstrated high-quality teaching outcomes with evidence of a strong commitment to continuous improvement of teaching practice and learning outcomes, in on-campus and online settingsDemonstrated commitment to establishing a program of research in working with children and families that demonstrates a growing publication record, and experience in the preparation of research grant applications and success in attracting research income commensurate with opportunity in the disciplineExperience in the supervision of higher degree research candidatesDemonstrated high standard of interpersonal ability, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work as a member of a diverse teamDemonstrated success in building relationships with industry for the benefit of teaching and/or researchHigh level administrative and organisational skills including demonstrated experience using information systems that support student learning and course administrationCulture At the University of South Australia, we value workplace diversity and are committed to providing a supportive, inclusive, and respectful work environment for all people.
