Senior Software Developer / Solution DesignerGreat opportunity for a developer to become a Solution DesignerNSW Government - Multi year fixed term contractOverview Our client works with the NSW community to drive improvements in student achievement, ensuring all children and young people in NSW leave school ready to take advantage of life's opportunities and rise to its inevitable challenges.
Primary purpose of the role Deliver a range of expert, customer-focused designs and digital user experiences that meet NSW Government objectives and goals.
Apply a deep understanding of design thinking, bringing together user research, interactive design, and architecture, to create innovative experiences supporting high-value products and services.
Key accountabilities Collaborate with diverse teams and individuals to create a consistently cooperative environment that facilitates efficient service.Resolve technical disagreements, regardless of their complexity or potential impact.Create visual representations of service concepts and design visually appealing models that meet expected standards.Simplify complex technical information for non-technical audiences.Facilitate challenging discussions within the team or with various stakeholders.Key knowledge and experience Demonstrated expertise in AWS, Azure, Azure Active Directory, DNS, Windows, and Linux operating systems, and practical understanding of database systems.Experience developing end-to-end solution design using Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Technologies.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills, including the ability to recommend improvements/alternatives.Consulting, negotiating, and vendor management skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.At Randstad Digital, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
