Role Overview
Reporting to the Project Manager, we currently have opportunities for
2/1 FIFO Project Engineers
and
Senior Project Engineers
with a background in FRP / Concrete structural projects to join our team working on a large infrastructure project in remote NSW.
Responsibilities
As the
Project Engineer
and
Senior Project Engineer , you will be accountable for:
Interpret specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures
Comprehensively understand the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budget
Create work programs for allocated work packages
Manage in conjunction with the wider team, the scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure compliance
Identify variations in work packages and submit list for review
Ensure the requirements of the quality management plan are effectively implemented to meet project requirements
Ensure familiarity of team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements
Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client
About You
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Post Graduate qualifications advantageous)
Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO capacity preferred with a Contractor
FRP and complex concrete structures experience
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring project teams
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
