Lecturer, Occupational Hygiene / Occupational Health & SafetySalary: $114,572 – $132,315 (pro-rata) + 17% SuperPermanent / Continuing, part-time appointment (0.5FTE)About the PositionThis position sits in the School of Social Sciences in the Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities.
The role will contribute to teaching, research, governance, and community engagement in the Occupational Health and Safety program.
This is a permanent part-time position at 0.5FTE (2.5 days per week).The role will involve:Development of innovative and world-class research and teaching programs through collaborative projects.Creation of curricula that meet TEQSA and professional accreditation standards.Establishing effective partnerships with community, practitioners, researchers, and government agencies.Teaching and coordination of subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.About YouYou are a highly qualified professional with a doctoral qualification (or significant progress towards one) in Occupational Health and Safety and certification as an Occupational Hygienist (COH).
You have a proven record of delivering innovative, high-quality teaching in tertiary or professional education environments, with demonstrated success in course design and implementation.Your expertise in occupational hygiene and health and safety is complemented by your ability to integrate teaching, research, and work-based learning.
With outstanding interpersonal skills, you build strong relationships with colleagues, government, industry, and community stakeholders.
You also bring extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and have established professional networks that enhance the discipline's research and teaching strengths.How to ApplyYou will be prompted to respond to a selection criteria questionnaire as part of the application process.
