St Andrew's Cathedral School is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Director of Performing Arts, starting Term 1, 2025 .
St Andrew's Cathedral School is renowned for its Performing Arts program, offering world-class music and drama pedagogy in the classroom, productions, ensembles, and individual music tuition.
The Director of Performing Arts has overall responsibility for, and leads innovative Performing Arts based development across K-12.
Who will the successful applicant be?
Well-practiced in modelling exemplary pedagogical practice and administering, leading and positively influencing team members to ensure they reflect the same.
Engage and inspire students to pursue excellence in all art forms of the performing arts.
A collaborative leader with experience in a similar role.
Able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, including an ability to understand and work effectively with a diversity of stakeholders, and to assess situations and respond appropriately.
An understanding of and commitment to the School's Christian mission, values, and ethos.
Previous experience teaching NESA curriculum, International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) is desirable, but not essential.

Who are we?
St Andrew's Cathedral School (SACS) is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican school located in two high-rise buildings in the heart of Sydney's CBD.
The school offers students a strong academic program and extensive opportunities to be involved in sport, music, drama, and outdoor education.

It is a condition of employment that all new Staff at the School must sign a written statement or complete an electronic acknowledgement that they have read and understand our Child Safe Policy and the Child Safe Codes of Conduct prior to commencing at the School.
