Job DescriptionThe Finance Analyst reports to the Senior Management Accountant and is responsible for:
Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and ensuring alignment with business goalsManagement Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports to the Executive Leadership Team, providing insights and recommendationsCost-Saving Initiatives: Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements across the organisationKey Projects: Leading and supporting key financial projects that drive business growth and profitabilitySome of the key activities in this role include:
Creating detailed business analyses and outlining key opportunitiesDefining business requirements and reporting up to the Executive Leadership TeamBudgeting and forecastingPlanning and monitoringVariance analysisReportingDesired Skills and ExperienceWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? To succeed in this role, you will have:
A bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent experience)Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis that supports business finance planning and reportingSuperior financial, analytical, forecasting, reporting, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to interpret data, assess its value, and present findings clearly and concisely, appropriate to the audience, enabling decision makingStrong computer literacy skills across the Microsoft Suite with advanced Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsNetSuite or Microsoft Navision experience is advantageousPlease note: you must have the current right to work and live in Australia in order to be considered for this role.
