Job Description:An exciting opportunity exists for an Avionics Engineer to join the Army, where you will play a critical role in planning, installing, analysing and troubleshooting advanced helicopter systems.
You will be responsible for maintaining the electrical, avionics, instrument and flight control systems of Armed Reconnaissance, Chinook helicopters, and other aircraft.
This is an ideal position for someone with an engineering degree who is eager to challenge themselves and make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain and troubleshoot advanced helicopter systemsPlan, install and analyse electrical, avionics, instrument and flight control systemsManage a maintenance team to ensure helicopters are airworthyRequirements:Australian citizenship (or eligible to obtain)Engineering degree permitting graduate membership to Engineers Australia (EA)Preferred disciplines: Avionics, Communications/Telecommunications, Computer Systems, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, SoftwareBenefits:Competitive salary from day oneOpportunities for postgraduate study and overseas travelExcellent fitness facilities and free medical and dental careDynamic and fulfilling work environmentSalary:$96,334 per annum plus generous superannuation
