Blake Oliver is proud to partner with a leading global technology and consulting firm to recruit a talented Cyber Security Consultant for their Canberra-based team.
This permanent role offers the chance to work on impactful projects that make a real difference, all within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
About the Role As a Cyber Security Consultant , you will play a key role in safeguarding enterprise environments.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will design, implement, and manage security solutions tailored to meet complex business and technical requirements.
You'll act as a bridge between security technologies and practical business needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes that enhance resilience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: Design, integrate, and manage endpoint and network security solutions, ensuring the implementation of robust security frameworks.
Consultancy and Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering actionable insights and recommendations tailored to their unique challenges.
Solution Implementation: Lead or support the implementation of security technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
Risk Management: Identify and address security risks by implementing proactive measures and providing expert advice to clients.
Collaboration and Communication: Work with stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships to deliver excellent outcomes and support long-term partnerships.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the cyber security space to bring innovative solutions to clients.
About You: We are seeking a skilled professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex challenges.
You are:
Experienced: You have 4+ years of experience in cyber security or a related technology field, with proven expertise in endpoint and network security, as well as security integration and engineering.
Technically Proficient: You possess a strong understanding of security controls, frameworks, and technologies, and have a solid grasp of enterprise IT environments and their challenges.
Clear Communicator: You can articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Collaborative: You work well in diverse teams and can build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Analytical: You use a data-driven approach to assess risks, solve problems, and provide actionable insights.
Committed to Growth: You have a passion for continuous learning and professional development, staying ahead of industry trends and certifications.
Eligible and Cleared: Australian Citizenship and NV1 Clearance are mandatory for this role.
