Who
We are an emerging collaborative design studio that challenges the traditional boundaries between Landscape Architecture and Urban Design with a focus on designing resilient and connected cities. Our values are to be Collaborative and Open, Authentic and True to Ourselves, Energetic and Passionate and lastly Adaptable and Nimble.
Land and Form practices on Gadigal Land and we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians, the First Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge their many Countries, knowledges, and cultures. We also acknowledge their evolving, living cultures and dynamic relationships with Country and pay our respects to their Elders – past, present, and future – always was always will be Aboriginal land.

As landscape architects we aim to create places that serve the higher purpose of social and ecological justice for all peoples and all species. We look to create places that nourish our deepest needs for communion with the natural world and with one another.
LAND = NATURE
As designers of the land, we are able to help restore some balance and re-establish natural systems for local flora and fauna to flourish and in turn, build a city's resilience to trauma such as natural disasters, population growth & increased pollution.
FORM = PEOPLE
As designers of public space, we also have an opportunity to create everlasting and memorable places where communities can share stories & experiences creating a strong support network that creates harmony between people and their natural environment.
How
DISCOVER.
We begin each project by discovering something special about the site. This discovery can form the core idea & concept for the project and makes it unique & special.
ENVISION.
We then take this discovery and transform it into a strong vision and concept for the project. This vision becomes the backbone and point of difference for the project.
CREATE.
Our final step is to transform this vision into a workable design outcome which carries through the original discovery and vision from start to finish.
About The Team & Culture
We are a small but emerging team of landscape architects & public realm designers looking to create something special and meaningful at Land and Form Studios. We work closely and collaboratively with consultants, clients, communities, and authorities to ensure the best possible outcome for people and ecology. There is plenty of space to grow at Land and Form and we encourage and facilitate the ability to grow your skills and become a well-rounded designer working through all stages of a project.
About The Role
As a
Graduate / Student Landscape Architect
with Land and Form, you will work with our directors, team members and clients to develop environmentally responsive design on projects that range in scale from rooftop gardens to streetscapes to large city shaping precincts.
As a key member of our team, you will be proficient in key design programs including Adobe suite, AutoCAD and have strong graphic communication skills. You will be a highly motivated individual who is energetic and passionate about design with a willingness to work and learn on projects across multiple scales and typologies with the ability to be adaptable & nimble and grow your skills quickly as you work on multiple projects and varied project stages.
About You
We are looking for an energetic & passionate
Graduate / Student Landscape Architect
that has experience in seeing a project through from concept design through to documentation. You should have:
Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to learn & understand design development and project outcomes at a range of project scales.
Well-rounded skillset ideally with minimum 6 months relevant industry experience / work experience.
High graphic sensitivity with strong skills in Adobe programs including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Understanding and interest in BIM and 3D modelling programs such as Rhino, Lumion and Revit.
Interest in engaging with Mid-Journey and other AI related communication programs.
Currently studying an Internationally recognised qualification in Landscape Architecture.
