We invest in our team through continual training and exposure to the latest industry technology including the transition to EV, driving safety, performance, and growth.Position OverviewThe Team Optimisation Manager is responsible for managing and optimising team member requirements across mycar's nationwide network of over 275 stores and over 30 mobile service and tyre vans.Working as part of the Operations Team, collaborating closely with Store Managers, our successful candidate will be supporting the Operations Leadership Team in optimising the number of team members as well as discovering the ideal in store skills mix and capabilities to meet mycar's sales targets as efficiently as possible. This role will see you developing strategic growth initiatives and supporting mycar's People strategy, including retention and longer-term diversity goals.This role has accountability across the following areas:Developing, implementing and managing mycar's workforce planning strategy to support both short term and long term business goals.Collaborating with regional and store managers to analyse workforce needs and anticipate future team member requirements.Aligning mycar's workforce planning strategy in regard to mobile and store network expansion, EV capable stores, new customer partnerships and gender diversity.Developing and enhancing workforce management tools, software, and data analytics to monitor KPIs related to team member numbers, costs, productivity, and retention.Regular analysis of workforce trends, identifying risks, gaps and opportunities for improving team member utilisation whilst working with store managers and the Operations Leadership Team to meet customer demand whilst controlling store remuneration costs.Success ProfileTo be successful in this role you will have the following:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field including Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Economics or Supply Chain.A minimum of 5 years experience in Workforce Planning or a highly analytical and data insights focused role ideally coming from a retail or multi-location environment.Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.A proven understanding of labour costs, budgeting, and productivity metrics to align resource planning with financial goals.The ability to convey complex data insights clearly to senior leadership and other key stakeholders to influence the decision-making process.Knowledge and exposure to project management principles to plan and execute resource allocation in line with project timelines and business objectives.Through our commitment to our people-first culture, we offer our mycar team a range of competitive benefits designed to make their life that little bit easierTake advantage of not only a great culture, but revel in our professional development programs designed to help continue to build and grow your career, wellness programs, and a huge range of discounts on the services we provide.Belonging at mycarAt mycar we value the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and contributions that each person brings; what makes you unique, makes us betterNo two days are the same: we're dynamic and full of passionate teams challenging new ideas through collaboration.To grow one of the most recognised leaders in automotive, we need the most interesting and talented people.
